A 2021 randomised controlled trial found that Lavender and Bergamot essential oils effectively improved quality of life for emergency and critical care nurses who were prone to headache.
The nurses wore the oils (0.1 mL of each) on a necklace for 28 days, so were able to constantly inhale the scents as they worked.
Applying oils to jewellery or clothing can be an effective way to reap the benefits of a particular oil without having to apply topically or stay close to a diffuser.
Lavender has traditionally been used in aromatherapy to decrease the symptoms and duration of headaches, and Bergamot has been used to relieve symptoms of stress and mild anxiety.
What a great team to take to work with you! Both of these oils are available in a wellness collection.
