Don’t get caught up in the way it was with one child. The way you did things. The way they did things. The way they slept, ate, walked, teethed, weaned, played, learnt…
Every child is different which means the way we parent them needs to be different which means we need to be detached from what “worked” for a different child.
The sooner we realise that and embrace it, the more peaceful the journey becomes.
