Parenting on a budget? Hey, it’s 2024. Who isn’t?!
This week, we’re sharing some craft ideas that don’t cost the earth or blow the budget.
- Homemade finger paint. I don’t know about you, but whenever I bring out the paint, we go through half a litre. Homemade is the way to go.
- I’m always on the lookout for cool craft ideas and pictures, so when I see one, I print it off or cut it out and put it on top of the craft draw. My kids come along, go through the stack of ideas and create! Saves buying dedicated craft books.
- Reuse old containers, bottles and tins for craft activities. Toilet rolls and egg cartons are the most versatile free craft supplies, so keep your recycling. I’ve collated heaps of ideas HERE over the year.
- Homemade play dough is so much more awesome than the store bought stuff – mainly because you know exactly what’s in it!
